I'm riding to meet Sherm for a little three day ride to escape the high valley temperatures and took these pictures at Whipple Lake in Prescott, AZ. Those are natures designs on the rocks.

I had to walk a long way from the bike for this picture. I'm getting pretty old for that.

I had ridden up here a week ago to meet Pat and Sherm for breakfast and took this picture then.
My breakfast then were these two chili relleno's and a shredded beef enchilada.

Today, I'm having Machaca and beans while visiting with Maury and Sherm

Yum Yum

Sherm got an important phone call that had to be dealt with immediately so I spent the time documenting the event.

At least the tree kept it interesting

Those three years of law school are paying off!

Sherm had never been to Strawberry so we stopped by for a visit to the only historical site there.
It's been around for awhile. Classes were held from 1885 until 1916

Now it is renown for it's convenient motorcycle parking

We had been passed earlier by a DPS Trooper and we saw why as we rode around this fatality. He/she is still lying in the road under the blanket. So sad, I'm sure they had started out this day looking forward to having a good time in the high country.

We are staying at the Nine Pines motor inn and this is the first time I have seen a mounted Javalina.

I've always heard they can do major damage to a person. Looking at those teeth I guess so!

Love this Motor Inn, not a lot of instant curb appeal, but different from so many others we passed, the sign read VACANCY!

After checking in we were pleased with it's cleanliness as well as it historic past.
