My sister had to replace her chickens because they quit laying. These ones are only 8 weeks old and won't start laying for another 8 weeks.

After leaving my sisters this morning, I rode the 150 miles to Red Bluff and had an early lunch at Los Mariahis

I thought of trying to get my iron horse in the same picture but the horse seemed to be a bit nervous of my bike so I didn't.

I rode highway 36 from Red Bluff to the Wildwood road. It intersected highway 3 after twenty miles and I rode 3 on in to Yreka. Nothing but curves and scenery!

There were a lot of these little farms in the Wildwoood area. Here the farmer is tending his crop! A few years ago we would go to jail for that!

I stopped at a rest area and parked next to this RepliCobra. Nice guy, but the highway sure didn't go where he said it did.

The Cobra owner said I wouldn't go anywhere near Trinity Lake.

In spite of Covid 19 there were a lot of people out enjoying the Lake. For the most part there were social distancing pretty well.

On the other hand, the lake is not over crowded.

As I approached the line, the traffic control guy told me to ride around to the front of the line.

I guess he could tell that I might be a little rude passing all of them later. :) :) :)

The gal driving the pilot car was hard to follow. She would go about 10 mph then speed up to 20 mph then brake check me hard to about 15 mph. By the time we got to the end, she was up to 45 mph.

The window of opportunity for hiking this has come and gone and I never got it done.

I made it to the summit on my bike and I didn't even have to pedal too hard.

I was riding around one of the Yreka residential areas and this guy was taking a little stroll through the same.

Some very nice old architecture in old town Yreka. They are still trying to push the State of Jefferson from what I can see. Maybe they should go to Seattle for some pointers!
