I decided to super slab it today on my way to Portland. However a detour through an historic town seemed in order.

Do they even make this stuff anymore?  Nope, Studebaker went out of business I think around 1967 or so.

For some reason it reminded me of Standing on the Corner in AZ.

Most of the stores are now antique shops or eateries.

But this one has been doing the same thing for 133 years!

I thought these had something to do with prohibition.

The Speakeasy

I wanted to take a picture from the side of this bridge but discovered I was trespassing on private property so I just pulled over and took this one from on top of the bridge. A gal driving the other way stopped to ask if I was okay and I showed her my camera. When I got to the other side I saw that it was a one lane bridge controlled by a red/green light. Of course I looked around for cops then made a beeline outta there.
